The BD7562FVM-TR exhibits fundamental incompatibilities with the original part in two critical parameters: quiescent power consumption and operating voltage range. Its total quiescent current of 900µA is 25 times higher than that of the AD8657 (36µA), which would drastically reduce battery life in portable applications. Furthermore, its minimum operating voltage of 5V prevents it from powering up in the low-voltage systems (2.7V to 3V) supported by the AD8657. While it offers advantages in speed (slew rate of 1V/µs, GBW of 1MHz), output current capability (14mA), and lower input bias current (1pA), these benefits do not compensate for its incompatibility in low-power, wide-voltage-range applications. Forced substitution would likely result in system failure or excessive power dissipation.
