1. FMAT7467-6 Substitution Conclusion
From a core parameter perspective, the FMAT7467-6 is identical to the original FMAT7620-6 part in terms of attenuation value (6 dB), power handling (2 W), impedance (50 Ω), and connector type (SMA In-Line Module). It can serve as a direct substitute in applications up to 12 GHz. The key difference lies in the frequency range: the original part supports 0–18 GHz, whereas the FMAT7467-6 is limited to 0–12 GHz. If the original system operates above 12 GHz (e.g., within the 12–18 GHz band), substituting with the FMAT7467-6 will degrade performance—resulting in inaccurate attenuation and poorer VSWR—and is therefore not recommended. For systems operating at or below 12 GHz, it is a fully equivalent replacement.
2. FMAT1012 Substitution Conclusion
The FMAT1012 also matches the original FMAT7620-6 in attenuation, power rating, impedance, and connector interface. However, its frequency range is significantly narrower: 0–6 GHz compared to the original's 0–18 GHz. The FMAT1012 is only guaranteed to perform equivalently up to 6 GHz. If the application involves frequencies above 6 GHz (e.g., C-band and above, Ku-band, etc.), substitution will compromise signal integrity and may cause system failure. Therefore, this part is suitable only for applications where the operating frequency is confirmed not to exceed 6 GHz. It is not a viable substitute for wideband or high-frequency applications.
