1. FMAT1010 Substitution Conclusion
The FMAT1010 is not viable as a direct substitute. The core technical deviation from the original part (FMAT7620-3) lies in its frequency range (0–6 GHz vs. 0–18 GHz). In frequency bands above 6 GHz (e.g., C, X, and Ku bands), the FMAT1010 cannot guarantee the specified 3 dB attenuation accuracy and impedance matching. This may introduce unpredictable insertion loss, degraded return loss, and reduced power handling capability, leading to system performance failure in microwave frequency ranges.
2. FMAT7466-3 Substitution Conclusion
The FMAT7466-3 is feasible under specific conditions. Its difference from the original part is also in frequency range (0–12 GHz vs. 0–18 GHz). This part can only ensure performance consistent with the original part in frequency bands below 12 GHz (covering L, S, C, and portions of the X band). If the application frequency exceeds 12 GHz (e.g., certain Ku band applications), parameters such as attenuation value and VSWR may deviate from their nominal specifications. Therefore, the feasibility of substitution depends entirely on whether the actual operating frequency of the original circuit remains within 12 GHz.
