The sole distinction is that the SA26B-08 offers a significantly wider frequency range (0-26 GHz) compared to the original's 0-18 GHz. The SA26B-08 maintains its specified attenuation accuracy and performance up to 26 GHz. It is fully backward compatible with the original 18 GHz application, while providing greater frequency margin and broader application potential. It is therefore an ideal, performance-upgraded replacement.
2. FMAT7466-8 Substitution Conclusion
The FMAT7466-8 can substitute for the original FMAT7620-8 only under specific conditions and with a critical limitation. While both share the same attenuation value, impedance, power rating, and connector type (SMA In-Line), the FMAT7466-8 has a narrower frequency range (0-12 GHz) versus the original's 0-18 GHz.
