1. TSV358AIYDT Substitution Conclusion
The TSV358AIYDT is not a viable substitute, primarily due to significant deviations in its key performance parameters from the original AD8602WARZ-RL. Its input bias current is as high as 70 nA (compared to 0.2 pA for the AD8602), which could introduce unacceptable errors in applications requiring high input impedance, such as precision sensor interfaces, integrator circuits, or low-leakage current designs. Furthermore, its bandwidth (1.4 MHz) and slew rate (0.6 V/µs) are substantially lower than those of the original part, severely limiting signal processing speed and dynamic response. This makes it suitable only for very low-speed applications. Although it offers a wider supply voltage range (2.5–6 V), automotive-grade qualification (AEC-Q100), and slightly higher output current capability, these advantages do not compensate for its core performance shortcomings. Consequently, the TSV358AIYDT cannot directly replace the AD8602 in precision, high-speed signal chains.
2. ADA4500-2ARMZ-R7 Substitution Conclusion
The ADA4500-2ARMZ-R7 presents a highly feasible substitution option, as its performance parameters closely match and in some respects exceed those of the original AD8602WARZ-RL. Its input bias current (0.7 pA) is comparably ultra-low, making it suitable for high-impedance signal sources. Both bandwidth (10 MHz) and slew rate (5.5 V/µs) are slightly better than the original, supporting faster signal processing. The supply voltage range (2.7–5.5 V) is identical. Key considerations include the ADA4500’s higher quiescent current (1.5 mA per channel), which must be evaluated in power-sensitive applications, and its 8-MSOP package, which is not footprint-compatible with the original 8-SOIC, requiring PCB layout redesign. Overall, provided power consumption and package compatibility are acceptable, the ADA4500 serves as a functionally equivalent or slightly superior alternative.
