1. BU7242SF-E2 Substitution Conclusion
The BU7242SF-E2 matches the MCP6402T-H/SN in fundamental architecture (dual-channel, rail-to-rail output) and low input bias current (1 pA), making it suitable for high-impedance signal applications. However, its input offset voltage (1 mV) is significantly higher than the original part's 800 µV, which may degrade DC accuracy. Furthermore, its supply current (180 µA) is approximately double that of the original part, increasing system power consumption. Its upper supply voltage limit (5.5 V) is also slightly lower than the original's 6 V, reducing power supply flexibility. Substitution can be considered if the application is not sensitive to offset voltage and power consumption, and the supply voltage does not exceed 5.5 V. Otherwise, it is not recommended.
2. LMV358SG-13 Substitution Conclusion
While the LMV358SG-13 offers superior slew rate (1 V/µs) and output current (90 mA) compared to the original part, its input bias current (15 nA) is four orders of magnitude higher, rendering it unsuitable for high-impedance sensing circuits. Its input offset voltage (1.7 mV) is also significantly worse, adversely affecting DC accuracy. Additionally, its minimum operating voltage (2.7 V) is higher than the original part's 1.8 V, precluding its use in low-voltage scenarios from 1.8 V to 2.7 V. Its supply current (190 µA per channel) is higher, leading to greater power consumption. Substitution should only be considered with caution for applications with a supply voltage ≥2.7 V that require robust output drive capability. Otherwise, it is not recommended.
