1. AD8646ARZ-REEL7 Substitution Conclusion The AD8646ARZ-REEL7 can partially replace the OPA2322AIDR, but with a key limitation: its minimum operating voltage is 2.7V (compared to 1.8V for the OPA2322). Therefore, it is not suitable for low-voltage applications in the 1.8V–2.7V range. In other respects, the AD8646ARZ-REEL7 offers slight advantages in bandwidth (24 MHz vs. 20 MHz), slew rate (11 V/µs vs. 10 V/µs), and output current (120 mA vs. 65 mA). However, its input bias current (0.3 pA vs. 0.2 pA) and input offset voltage (600 µV vs. 500 µV) are marginally worse, which could have a minor impact in ultra-high-precision or extremely low-power applications. If the system operates at a supply voltage of 2.7V or higher and does not require extreme precision, this part can serve as a functional and pin-compatible substitute.
2. AD8646ARZ Substitution Conclusion The AD8646ARZ and AD8646ARZ-REEL7 are the same device with different packaging (tube vs. reel); their electrical parameters are identical. Therefore, the substitution conclusion remains the same: it can replace the OPA2322AIDR provided the supply voltage is ≥2.7V, accepting a slight degradation in input precision parameters while benefiting from improved bandwidth, slew rate, and drive capability. If the original design relies on a 1.8V–2.7V supply, substitution is not feasible. For standard 5V or 3.3V systems where extremely low bias current is not critical, a direct replacement is acceptable.
