The AD8646WARZ-RL, like the original part, is a dual rail-to-rail output op-amp. Its key performance parameters are comprehensively comparable or slightly superior: it has marginally higher gain bandwidth product (24 MHz vs. 20 MHz) and slew rate (11V/µs vs. 10V/µs), while its input bias current (0.3 pA vs. 0.2 pA) and offset voltage (600µV vs. 500µV) remain at the same excellent level. The critical difference is the minimum operating voltage (2.7V vs. 1.8V). If the original circuit operates below 2.7V, this substitute cannot be used. However, for systems operating between 2.7V and 5.5V, the AD8646WARZ-RL is not only directly compatible, but its slightly higher output current (120mA) also provides enhanced load drive capability, making it a viable upgrade/substitution choice.
