1. LF353D Substitution Conclusion Direct substitution is not recommended. While the LF353D is also a dual J-FET input op-amp and is pin-compatible, its key precision specifications are significantly inferior to those of the LT1057IS8: its input offset voltage is as high as 5 mV (vs. 220 µV for the LT1057), and its input bias current is 50 pA (vs. 7 pA). In applications demanding high DC accuracy and low error—such as precision sensor amplification or integrator circuits—the LF353D would introduce substantially greater offset error and temperature drift. Its gain-bandwidth product (3 MHz) is also lower, which may impact AC performance. However, its lower supply voltage limit (7V) offers slightly broader adaptability.
2. OPA2107AU/2K5 Substitution Conclusion Substitution is conditionally recommended, pending evaluation of the system's sensitivity to amplifier input type. The OPA2107AU/2K5 offers key precision specifications that are superior to or comparable with the LT1057IS8: its input bias current (4 pA) and offset voltage (100 µV) are extremely low, and its bandwidth (4.5 MHz) and slew rate (18 V/µs) are similar or better. The primary difference lies in its "standard" input architecture (typically bipolar), as opposed to J-FET. This results in a much lower input impedance, which may render it unsuitable for applications with ultra-high impedance signal sources, such as certain photodetector circuits. Additionally, its minimum operating voltage (9V) is higher than the LT1057's (20V), so system power supply compatibility must be verified.
