1. LM2904AHYPT Substitution Conclusion The LM2904AHYPT is not recommended as a direct replacement for the OPA2137E/2K5. While both are dual operational amplifiers with similar packages, they exhibit significant differences in key performance parameters. The OPA2137 employs JFET input technology, featuring an input bias current (5 pA) that is 4000 times lower than the bipolar input of the LM2904 (20 nA). In high-impedance sensor interfaces, precision integrators, or low‑leakage applications, the LM2904 may introduce non‑negligible errors. Additionally, the OPA2137 offers higher slew rate (3.5 V/µs) and gain‑bandwidth product (1 MHz), making it suitable for circuits requiring faster signal response, whereas the LM2904 (0.6 V/µs, 700 kHz) is limited to low‑frequency general‑purpose designs.
