This makes it far superior to the original part for applications involving high-impedance signal sources or requiring high DC accuracy, such as sensor interfaces. The BU7266FVM-TR cannot serve as a universal direct replacement for the LMX358IST. It is suitable only for very specific, ultra-low-frequency, and ultra-low-power applications. Its advantage lies in an extremely low quiescent current (700 nA), making it suitable for battery-powered, always-on devices. Furthermore, its output current (4 mA) and package width (2.80 mm) also differ from the original part, requiring careful verification of drive capability and physical compatibility. Substitution is not recommended unless the application has extreme power consumption requirements and operates with very low signal frequencies.
