While its bandwidth and slew rate are comparable to the original part, the core architecture differs: it is a Programmable Gain Amplifier (PGA), not a general-purpose op-amp. Its gain must be set via a digital interface. If the original circuit was designed to set gain using external resistors, this part will not function correctly. Furthermore, its quiescent current (3.5mA) is significantly higher than the original's (2mA), increasing power consumption. The TSOT-23-8 package is also incompatible with the original SOIC footprint, necessitating a PCB redesign.
2. LTC6240HVHS8TRPBF Substitution Conclusion This part is an excellent high-performance alternative. Like the original, it is a general-purpose rail-to-rail output operational amplifier, and its key parameters are either superior to or match the original specifications. It offers a higher gain-bandwidth product (18 MHz), providing wider usable bandwidth at high gains. Its extremely low input bias current (0.5 pA) and input offset voltage (60 µV) significantly improve DC accuracy and reduce error. The power supply voltage range is compatible.
