1. TS922IDT Substitution Conclusion
The TS922IDT is a direct form-fit-function replacement in terms of package, supply voltage range, and channel count. However, its key performance parameters differ significantly from those of the Original Part. Its input bias current is notably higher at 15nA (compared to 10pA for the Original Part), making it unsuitable for applications involving high-impedance signal sources or requiring ultra-low input current, such as photodetection. Its technical positioning, however, is fundamentally different: it is a "zero-drift" amplifier featuring extremely low input offset voltage (1µV) and drift. This makes its performance far superior to the Original Part in sensor signal conditioning applications demanding ultra-high DC accuracy and long-term stability, such as thermocouple or bridge sensor interfaces. Its speed (SR=1.5V/µs, GBW=1.6MHz) and output current (20mA) are significantly lower than the Original Part, rendering it inadequate for processing high-frequency signals or driving heavy loads. It is a targeted substitution option. It represents an excellent upgrade choice only when the core application requirement is ultra-high DC precision, not speed or drive capability. It is not a suitable replacement for designs originally reliant on the higher bandwidth and slew rate of the Original Part.
