1. TSV852AIDT Substitution Conclusion
The TSV852AIDT is a conditional substitute. It is primarily suitable for applications where speed and precision are not critical, but where extremely low power consumption, low input bias current, or automotive-grade reliability are paramount. There exists a significant performance gap between it and the original part, LMV722MX/NOPB. Its gain bandwidth product (1.3 MHz vs. 10 MHz) and slew rate (0.7 V/µs vs. 5.25 V/µs) are an order of magnitude lower, rendering it incapable of handling high-frequency or fast-slewing signals; its dynamic response is severely inadequate. Furthermore, its input offset voltage (800 µV vs. 80 µV) is ten times higher, leading to a substantial degradation in DC accuracy. Its advantages lie in its extremely low quiescent current (130 µA/ch vs. 2.01 mA/ch), consuming only about 6.5% of the original part's power, and lower input bias current (27 nA vs. 260 nA), making it more suitable for high-impedance signal sources. It also carries AEC-Q100 automotive qualification.
2. LMX358IDT Substitution Conclusion
The LMX358IDT is largely not a viable substitute. It should only be considered in extremely rare scenarios where power consumption is the sole critical factor and both precision and speed are completely non-essential. Compared to the original LMV722MX/NOPB, aside from advantages in low power (130 µA/ch) and low input bias current (27 nA), it suffers from two critical flaws. First, its input offset voltage is exceptionally high (4 mV vs. 80 µV)—50 times worse than the original. This introduces unacceptable baseline errors when amplifying DC or low-frequency signals, severely compromising measurement or processing accuracy unless the system incorporates calibration. Second, similar to the TSV852AIDT, its bandwidth and slew rate (1.3 MHz, 0.7 V/µs) are extremely low, making it unsuitable for any signal processing task requiring even moderate speed. It cannot serve as a direct performance replacement for the LMV722MX/NOPB.
