1. BU7266SF-E2 Substitution Conclusion
Direct substitution is not recommended. There are fundamental differences in key parameters between the BU7266SF-E2 and the original part: its slew rate (0.0024 V/µs) and gain-bandwidth product (4 kHz) are extremely low, resulting in very slow signal response and an inability to process AC signals above a few hundred hertz. Furthermore, its output drive capability (4 mA) is weak, and the input offset voltage (1 mV) is relatively high. Consequently, this device is only suitable for ultra-low-frequency, micropower static signal conditioning applications, such as sensor buffering in battery-powered systems. In contrast, the LMV722M, with its 10 MHz bandwidth and 5.25 V/µs slew rate, is intended for mid-frequency dynamic signal processing. Their application domains show virtually no overlap.
2. BU7486F-E2 Substitution Conclusion
Conditional substitution may be feasible in certain applications, but a careful assessment of system requirements is essential. The BU7486F-E2 offers comparable, and even slightly superior, bandwidth (10 MHz) and slew rate (10 V/µs) to the original part, making it suitable for processing signals in a similar frequency range. Key differences include: its input offset voltage (1 mV) is an order of magnitude higher than that of the LMV722M (80 µV), which would introduce significant DC error and makes it unsuitable for high-precision amplification; its output current (12 mA) is only about 20% of the original's (52.6 mA), limiting its ability to drive low-impedance loads; and its minimum supply voltage is 3 V (compared to 2.2 V for the original), preventing its use in systems operating below 3 V. Substitution can be considered if the application has relaxed requirements for DC precision, load driving, or low-voltage supply operation.
