1. BU7486F-E2 Substitution Conclusion
Direct substitution is not recommended. Although the BU7486F-E2 is a rail-to-rail output dual op-amp, its minimum operating voltage is 3V (compared to 1.8V for the original part), which cannot cover the low-voltage application scenarios of the original design. Its output current is only 12mA (versus 100mA for the original part), resulting in severely insufficient drive capability that may fail to meet load requirements. Additionally, its quiescent current is as high as 6mA (compared to only 232µA for the original part), leading to significantly increased power consumption. However, being fabricated in CMOS technology, it offers extremely low input bias current (1pA), making it suitable for high-impedance sensor signal processing. Its higher slew rate (10V/µs) and bandwidth (10MHz) also make it applicable for higher-frequency signals. Substitution could be considered only if the application is strictly limited to supply voltages above 3V, light loads, and requires high input impedance; otherwise, it is not compatible.
2. NCS20032DR2G Substitution Conclusion
This part demonstrates high feasibility for substitution. The NCS20032DR2G shows strong compatibility with the original part in key parameters: its operating voltage range of 1.7V–5.5V fully covers the original part’s range (1.8V–5.5V), supporting low-voltage systems; its output current of 96mA is close to the original part’s 100mA, providing comparable drive capability; and although its quiescent current (550µA) is slightly higher, it remains within the low-power category. Its advantages include lower input bias current (1pA), which benefits high-precision measurements; higher slew rate (8V/µs) and bandwidth (7MHz), offering stronger dynamic performance; and smaller input offset voltage (500µV), improving DC accuracy. Note that its high-speed characteristics may introduce stability risks, requiring consideration of high-frequency compensation in PCB layout and feedback networks.
