1. AZV321KTR-G1 Substitution Conclusion
The AZV321KTR-G1 can serve as a drop-in replacement for the LMV321M5 in the vast majority of application scenarios. Their core electrical parameters are highly aligned, including supply voltage range, gain bandwidth product (GBP), slew rate, quiescent current, output drive capability, and input offset voltage. Furthermore, the identical package ensures hardware compatibility.
The only critical difference lies in the input bias current (I_b). The AZV321KTR-G1 specifies a significantly higher I_b of 250 nA compared to the LMV321M5's 15 nA. In applications involving high-impedance signal sources, high-value feedback networks, or those requiring extremely high DC precision—such as precision sensor amplification or integrator circuits—the AZV321KTR-G1 may introduce greater input bias current error. This can result in additional DC offset voltage or integration drift, potentially degrading system accuracy.
However, for general-purpose signal buffering, low-impedance driving, or AC-coupled applications where input bias current is not a critical parameter, the two devices are fully interchangeable.
