1. SA6-10 Substitution Conclusion Limited substitution is feasible only in low-frequency applications; direct replacement is generally not recommended due to critical performance degradation. The core difference between the SA6-10 and the original part AT-110V lies in its frequency range, which is limited to 0–6 GHz, whereas the original part covers 0–18 GHz. In frequency bands above 6 GHz (such as C, X, and Ku bands), the SA6-10’s performance—including attenuation value and impedance matching—will deviate significantly from the nominal specifications or even become ineffective, potentially leading to signal distortion, measurement errors, or increased reflections in the system. The SA6-10 may only be considered as a cost-reduction or more readily available alternative in applications where the operating frequency is confirmed not to exceed 6 GHz; otherwise, it is not substitutable.
2. FMAT7466-10 Substitution Conclusion This part can be largely substituted in medium-bandwidth applications, but high-frequency edge performance must still be evaluated; it is considered a downgraded replacement. Although the frequency range of the FMAT7466-10 (0–12 GHz) is better than that of the SA6-10, it still falls short of the AT-110V’s upper limit of 18 GHz. For applications operating between 12 GHz and 18 GHz (e.g., portions of the Ku band), this part cannot be used. Within the 0–12 GHz range, its nominal 10 dB attenuation and 2 W power handling align with the original specifications, suggesting theoretically equivalent performance. However, near its frequency limit (e.g., 10–12 GHz), performance parameters such as attenuation accuracy and VSWR may slightly degrade compared to the original part. If the system’s maximum operating frequency is ≤12 GHz and the requirements for performance at the band edge are not extremely stringent, the FMAT7466-10 represents a viable substitution option.
