1. TS27L2ACDT Substitution Conclusion Overall, the TS27L2ACDT is not suitable as a direct replacement for the TLC272ACD. While both parts are compatible in terms of supply voltage range and share the same package, their core performance specifications represent a generational gap. The gain-bandwidth product (100 kHz) and slew rate (0.04 V/µs) of the TS27L2ACDT are more than an order of magnitude lower than those of the original part (2.2 MHz, 5.3 V/µs). Consequently, it will introduce severe bandwidth limitations and waveform distortion when processing any signal with a frequency exceeding approximately 10 kHz or any rapidly changing signal, failing to meet the dynamic response requirements of the original circuit. Its primary advantage lies in its ultra-low quiescent current (10 µA vs. 1.9 mA). However, this benefit is only meaningful for battery-powered, very low-frequency, or DC applications and comes at the cost of completely sacrificing all dynamic performance.
2. TS27L2BIDT Substitution Conclusion Similarly, the TS27L2BIDT is generally unsuitable as a universal, direct replacement for the TLC272ACD. It shares the same critically insufficient dynamic performance (100 kHz GBW, 0.04 V/µs SR) as the aforementioned ACDT version, rendering it equally incapable in applications requiring any appreciable signal bandwidth or speed. Its key distinction from the ACDT lies in its lower input offset voltage (250 µV vs. 900 µV), giving it an advantage in DC precision and the accuracy of small-signal measurements over both the original TLC272ACD and the ACDT variant. It could only be considered a specialized "low-power precision" alternative in extreme cases where the application is confirmed to be ultra-low-power, purely DC or near-DC precision measurement, with absolutely no dynamic response requirements. This, however, represents a complete departure from the general-purpose design intent of the original TLC272ACD.
