1. TL062IDT Substitution Conclusion The TL062IDT can directly replace the TL062ID, as both are dual JFET-input operational amplifiers with identical key parameters including input bias current (30 pA), slew rate (3.5V/µs), and bandwidth (1 MHz). The package is also the same (8-SOIC). The primary difference is that the TL062IDT offers a wider supply voltage range (6-36V) compared to the original part (10-30V), providing better adaptability in low-voltage applications. It should be noted, however, that the manufacturers differ (TI vs. ST), which may result in minor variations in extreme temperature performance or long-term stability. These differences are not significant for general-purpose applications.
2. LM158DT Substitution Conclusion The LM158DT is not suitable as a direct replacement for the TL062ID due to fundamental architectural differences (general-purpose standard type vs. JFET type). This leads to notable discrepancies in key specifications: the input bias current is as high as 20 nA (far exceeding the 30 pA of the TL062ID), the slew rate is only 0.6V/µs (compared to 3.5V/µs), and the quiescent current is 700µA (versus 200µA for the TL062ID). The LM158DT cannot meet requirements for high input impedance, low power consumption, or high-speed signal processing. However, its wider supply range (3-30V), stronger output drive capability (40 mA), and AEC-Q100 automotive-grade qualification make it more suitable for general-purpose or automotive mid-to-low-speed applications.
