1. AS358MTR-E1 Substitution Conclusion
Direct substitution is not recommended. Although the package is compatible and the supply voltage range is wider, there are significant differences in core performance: the input bias current of the AS358MTR-E1 is as high as 20 nA, nearly 700 times greater than the 30 pA of the TL062ACD, making it unsuitable for high-impedance source signals and introducing substantial error. Its slew rate and gain-bandwidth product are unspecified, typically far lower than those of the TL062, indicating severely limited dynamic response capability (e.g., for processing fast signals or where certain bandwidth is required). Additionally, its quiescent current is 3.5 times that of the TL062, which is unfavorable for low-power designs. It is only suitable for non-critical, low-frequency DC signal processing applications where input impedance, speed, and power consumption are not concerns.
2. LM2904S-13 Substitution Conclusion
Substitution is conditionally acceptable, provided application requirements are rigorously evaluated. Compared to the TL062ACD, its main differences are: the input bias current is similarly 20 nA versus 30 pA, rendering it unsuitable for high-impedance sensor front ends such as photodetection or pH meters; the slew rate is only 0.3 V/µs, significantly lower than the TL062's 3.5 V/µs, resulting in greatly limited signal rise time and processing speed; and the gain-bandwidth product of 700 kHz is lower than 1 MHz, restricting available bandwidth. Its advantages include a wider supply voltage range and stronger output drive capability. Substitution may only be considered in applications where the signal source impedance is low, the signal varies slowly (e.g., low-frequency filtering, comparators, relay driving), and the ultra-low input current characteristics of JFET are not required.
