1. AD8620ARZ-REEL Substitution Conclusion The AD8620ARZ-REEL outperforms the original TLE2082ACD in most key performance parameters, including higher bandwidth (25 MHz vs. 10 MHz), faster slew rate (60 V/µs vs. 40 V/µs), lower input bias current (3 pA vs. 20 pA), and lower input offset voltage (85 µV vs. 700 µV). This makes it superior in high-speed, high-precision applications where response speed and signal fidelity are critical. However, its supply voltage range (10–26 V) is notably narrower than that of the original part (4.5–38 V), which restricts direct substitution in wide-supply or low-voltage scenarios. Actual supply conditions must be verified for compatibility.
2. MC33078D Substitution Conclusion The MC33078D is not a suitable substitute in most cases. As a standard bipolar op-amp (not J-FET), it exhibits a high input bias current of 300 nA, far exceeding the original part’s 20 pA. This makes it incompatible with high-impedance signal sources or precision applications requiring very low input current. Additionally, its slew rate (7 V/µs) and bandwidth (15 MHz) are lower than those of the original device, limiting high-speed signal processing capability. Although its supply voltage range (10–36 V) partially overlaps with the original, the performance differences are significant. It should only be considered for general amplification where input error and speed are not critical.
