1. AD8602ARZ-REEL Substitution Conclusion
Direct substitution is not recommended. Conditional replacement may only be considered in specific high-speed applications where ultra-low power consumption and extremely low bandwidth are not critical, and the system voltage is ≥2.7V. The AD8602ARZ-REEL differs significantly from the original part, RE46C312S8F, in key performance parameters. Its slew rate (6V/µs) and gain-bandwidth product (8.4 MHz) are three orders of magnitude higher than those of the original (0.003V/µs, 10 kHz). While this makes it excellent for processing high-speed signals or applications requiring high bandwidth, using it in a circuit originally designed for ultra-low-speed operation can easily induce stability issues and oscillation. Furthermore, its quiescent current (750µA per channel) is approximately 1250 times greater than the original's 600nA per channel, which is unacceptable for battery-powered or ultra-low-power systems relying on nanoamp-level operation. Additionally, its minimum operating voltage is 2.7V, higher than the original's 1.8V, limiting its use in low-voltage systems. The only positive improvement is its extremely low input offset voltage (80µV), which is far superior to the original's 3mV and can help improve DC accuracy.
2. AD8602DRZ-REEL Substitution Conclusion
Direct substitution is not recommended. Its applicable scenarios are similar to those of the AD8602ARZ-REEL, and it offers a smaller advantage in DC accuracy. The AD8602DRZ-REEL is identical to the AD8602ARZ-REEL in speed, bandwidth, power consumption, and voltage range. Therefore, the conclusions regarding high-speed operation, high power consumption, and voltage limitations stated above apply equally here. The key difference lies in the input offset voltage: the AD8602DRZ-REEL specifies 1.3mV. While this is still better than the original's 3mV, the improvement is far less significant compared to the AD8602ARZ-REEL's 80µV. When considering a substitution, the AD8602DRZ-REEL provides a smaller benefit in terms of improved DC accuracy, while introducing the same severe conflicts with the original design goals regarding high power consumption and high-speed characteristics. Consequently, it is also unsuitable as a direct replacement.
