1. TLV2241IDR Substitution Conclusion Direct substitution is not viable. The TLV2241IDR is an ultra-low-power, low-bandwidth operational amplifier. Its gain-bandwidth product (5.5 kHz) and slew rate (0.002 V/µs) are over two orders of magnitude lower than those of the original ALD1732 (1.5 MHz, 2.1 V/µs). The TLV2241 is entirely incapable of handling any mid-frequency or fast-changing signals, exhibiting a severe deficiency in dynamic performance. While its quiescent current is exceptionally low (1µA) and its input bias current (100 pA) is on the same order as the original part (10 pA), its extremely limited bandwidth and speed will become a critical bottleneck in the vast majority of general-purpose amplification applications. Therefore, it is not a feasible substitute.
2. AD8031ARZ-REEL Substitution Conclusion Substitution is possible in specific high-speed applications but is not suitable for high-precision DC applications. The AD8031ARZ-REEL is a high-speed, voltage-feedback operational amplifier. Its bandwidth (80 MHz) and slew rate (35 V/µs) far exceed those of the original part, making it well-suited for applications requiring fast response, such as video processing and signal conditioning. However, its input bias current (450 nA) and input offset voltage (1 mV) are several thousand times larger than those of the original part (10 pA, 100 µV). In circuits sensitive to DC precision and input current, such as sensor signal amplification or precision integrators, it would introduce significant errors. The feasibility of substitution is highly application-dependent: it can be used in high-speed domains but is unsuitable for high-precision DC domains.
