1. AD8032BRZ-REEL Substitution Conclusion Given compatible supply voltage and package, the AD8032BRZ-REEL is not a direct substitute for the ALD2732ASAL. It is primarily suitable for applications requiring speed while tolerating higher DC error. The core trade-off lies between bandwidth/speed and DC precision: the AD8032 offers significantly higher bandwidth (80 MHz) and slew rate (35 V/µs) compared to the original part (1.5 MHz, 1.9 V/µs), enabling it to handle high-frequency signals and fast transients, making it suitable for video, high-speed signal conditioning, and similar scenarios. However, its input bias current (450 nA) is nearly 45,000 times higher than that of the original device (10 pA). This will generate non-negligible error voltage in circuits with high-impedance signal sources (such as photodiodes or sensors), severely degrading system DC accuracy. Additionally, while its input offset voltage (500 µV) is comparable to the original (600 µV), the inherently higher noise of high-speed op-amps may degrade the signal-to-noise ratio in low-frequency precision applications.
2. AD8032ARZ-REEL Substitution Conclusion The AD8032ARZ-REEL is likewise not a direct substitute for the ALD2732ASAL, and its DC accuracy compatibility is even worse than the BRZ version. It shares the same high-speed performance (80 MHz, 35 V/µs) and very high input bias current (450 nA) as the BRZ version; therefore, the aforementioned conclusion regarding the speed versus DC precision conflict fully applies. The key differentiator is its typical input offset voltage of 1 mV, which is substantially higher than the original's 600 µV and the BRZ version's 500 µV. Even with lower source impedances, it introduces a larger initial DC error, imposing a more severe limitation for any application with DC accuracy requirements. It is essentially only viable for high-speed, AC-coupled systems where offset voltage is not critical.
