1. LM2904DR Substitution Conclusion
The LM2904DR is not recommended as a direct replacement for the TC913ACOA713, primarily due to significant differences in key performance parameters. The TC913ACOA713 is a zero-drift amplifier featuring extremely low input offset voltage (5µV) and input bias current (90pA), making it suitable for high-precision DC or low-frequency signal processing. In contrast, the LM2904DR is a general-purpose amplifier with input offset voltage (3mV) and bias current (20nA) several hundred to a thousand times higher, which would introduce non-negligible errors in precision applications. Furthermore, the TC913ACOA713 offers superior dynamic performance with a higher slew rate (2.5V/µs) and gain-bandwidth product (1.5MHz) compared to the LM2904DR (0.3V/µs and 700kHz). Although the LM2904DR provides greater flexibility in supply voltage range (3V~26V) and output drive capability (40mA), its limitations in accuracy and speed restrict its use to applications with very low error and bandwidth requirements. Consequently, it cannot meet the high-precision signal conditioning demands originally designed for the TC913ACOA713.
