In applications for which the original part is intended—such as audio or sensor conditioning involving dynamic signals—the BU7266FVM-TR would introduce severe signal distortion or fail to respond entirely. Although it features ultra-low power consumption (700 nA) and ultra-low input bias current (1 pA), these advantages cannot compensate for the several orders of magnitude deficit in speed performance. Therefore, the substitution is not viable.

The BU7486FVM-TR can functionally replace the AZV358MMTR-G1 from a performance standpoint; however, careful evaluation of system compatibility regarding power consumption and output drive capability is required. Its primary advantages are higher bandwidth and speed (gain-bandwidth product of 10 MHz and slew rate of 10 V/µs, both approximately 10 times that of the original part) as well as superior input characteristics (input bias current of 1 pA, offset voltage of 1 mV). These attributes enable it to handle high-frequency and fast transient signals more effectively. The key differences are its quiescent current of 6 mA (compared to 0.21 mA for the original), representing a roughly 30-fold increase in power dissipation—a significant burden for battery-powered systems—and its output current capability of 12 mA (versus 60 mA for the original), which provides weaker drive for heavy loads. In non-battery-powered applications with light loads where higher speed performance is needed, the BU7486FVM-TR is a feasible upgrade alternative.
