1. AD8602DRMZ-REEL Substitution Conclusion Direct substitution is not viable. Although the package is compatible, its core performance specifications fundamentally conflict with those of the original part: the AD8602's gain-bandwidth product (8.4 MHz) and slew rate (6 V/µs) are three orders of magnitude higher than the original part's (9 kHz, 0.003 V/µs). This results in a quiescent current (750 µA) over 1000 times greater than the original's (650 nA). If used in the original design, it would completely sacrifice the core advantages of ultra-low power consumption and low-frequency signal processing for which the TSU102IST was selected. This could lead to power system overload, severely reduced battery life, and its higher input offset voltage (1.3 mV) may also compromise DC accuracy. It is only suitable for new designs with high demands for speed and drive capability where power consumption is not a critical concern, not as a direct replacement.
2. MCP6042T-E/MS Substitution Conclusion For applications prioritizing ultra-low power consumption, this part is a viable and excellent alternative. It closely matches the original part in the most critical low-power characteristics: its quiescent current (600 nA) is extremely low, and its bandwidth (14 kHz) and slew rate (0.003 V/µs) are of the same order of magnitude, making it suitable for processing low-frequency or DC signals. The key difference is its larger input offset voltage (3 mV vs. 100 µV), which may necessitate recalibration in applications requiring high DC precision, such as precision sensor amplification. However, it offers a wider supply voltage range (1.4V to 6V) and stronger output drive capability (20 mA), which are advantageous. For most ultra-low-power applications where extending battery life is the primary goal and stringent microvolt-level DC accuracy is not required, the MCP6042 is a very good substitute.
