Direct substitution is not recommended. Although its isolation voltage (4000Vpk ≈ 2830Vrms) is higher than the original part, and its propagation delay and rise/fall times are comparable, two key parameters present significant disadvantages. First, its common-mode transient immunity (CMTI) is only 15kV/µs, which is substantially lower than the original part's 35kV/µs. In applications with high-voltage noise interference (e.g., motor drives, power supplies), this significantly increases the risk of false triggering and reduces system reliability. Second, its data rate (100Mbps) is lower than the original part's (150Mbps), creating a bottleneck in applications requiring high-speed signal transmission. This substitute is only suitable for low-to-medium speed scenarios with no stringent CMTI requirements and data rates below 100Mbps.

This part is largely unsuitable as a replacement, with a considerable performance gap. Its isolation voltage (3000Vrms) is in the same order of magnitude as the original part's (2500Vrms).
