1. LMV358M8G-13 Substitution Conclusion
The LMV358M8G-13 is completely unsuitable for replacing the BU7486FVM-TR in applications demanding critical dynamic performance. Its gain-bandwidth product (1 MHz vs. 10 MHz) and slew rate (1V/µs vs. 10V/µs) are only one-tenth of the original part's specifications. This results in severe bandwidth limitations and waveform distortion when processing signals of comparable frequency or fast transients, rendering it unfit for any speed-sensitive application. Furthermore, its input bias current (15 nA) is four orders of magnitude higher than the original's (1 pA). This will introduce significant error in circuits interfacing with high-impedance sources, such as sensors. Its sole advantages are an ultra-low quiescent current (190µA vs. 6mA) and robust output drive capability (90 mA). Therefore, its use should be strictly limited to very low-frequency or DC applications where speed and precision are non-critical, but extremely low power consumption and the ability to drive heavy loads are paramount.
2. ISL28213FUZ-T7 Substitution Conclusion
The ISL28213FUZ-T7 remains deficient in dynamic performance but offers advantages in DC precision and power consumption, making it a conditional substitute. Its gain-bandwidth product (2 MHz) and slew rate (1V/µs) are also significantly lower than the original part's (10 MHz, 10V/µs), thus similarly disqualifying it for high-frequency or high-speed signal processing circuits. However, it excels in DC precision, featuring a very low input bias current (3 pA), a smaller input offset voltage (500µV), and extremely low quiescent current (90µA). Additionally, it operates over a wider supply voltage range (down to 1.8V). This device can only replace the original in low-frequency applications where signal bandwidth and slew rate requirements are modest (e.g., below several hundred kHz), but high DC accuracy, ultra-low power consumption, or a wider voltage range are needed. A typical use case would be sensor signal conditioning in portable equipment.
