The core limitation lies in its severely inadequate dynamic performance: both gain-bandwidth product (50 kHz vs. 7 MHz) and slew rate (0.006 V/µs vs. 5 V/µs) are more than two orders of magnitude lower than the original part. This makes it entirely unsuitable for processing mid-to-high frequency or fast-changing signals, restricting its use to static or quasi-static measurements. Its advantages include an ultra-low quiescent current (7 µA vs. 1.1 mA) and superior DC precision (offset voltage 500 µV vs. 1 mV, bias current 0.5 pA vs. 1 pA), making it a candidate for battery-powered portable equipment. However, its output drive capability (40 mA vs. 85 mA) is also weaker.
