1. AD648JRZ-REEL7 Substitution Conclusion
Based on a comprehensive evaluation, the AD648JRZ-REEL7 can serve as a conditional, performance-degraded substitute for the TL032ACDR in the majority of conventional JFET op-amp applications. The key differences are as follows: First, its output drive capability (15mA) is significantly lower than that of the original part (40mA). This may lead to reduced output voltage swing or distortion when driving low-impedance loads. Second, its slew rate (1.8V/µs) is lower than the original's (5.1V/µs), which directly limits the amplifier's ability to handle high-speed transient signals, thereby narrowing the full-power bandwidth. While it offers a wider supply voltage range, slightly lower quiescent current, and comparable input bias current and offset voltage, the degradation in these two critical parameters dictates that it is only suitable for applications with low demands on output current and signal speed. It cannot serve as a lossless replacement in circuits requiring strong drive capability or fast response.
2. LT1464CS8PBF Substitution Conclusion
The LT1464CS8PBF is unsuitable as a direct performance substitute for the TL032ACDR due to fundamental differences in their design objectives and key specifications. The differences are evident in the following: The LT1464's quiescent current (145µA per channel) is far lower than the TL032's (422µA per channel). Its internal operating point current is deliberately optimized for an extremely low level, which consequently results in a slew rate (0.9V/µs) that is severely inferior to the original part's (5.1V/µs). This renders it completely incapable of handling any amplification tasks involving medium- to high-speed signals. Furthermore, its datasheet does not specify a nominal output current capability, which is very likely to be far below the TL032's 40mA. Although the LT1464 features exceptionally low input bias current (0.5pA), making it excellent for ultra-high impedance, DC precision applications (such as photodetector pre-amplification), this characteristic is precisely what differentiates it from the TL032's positioning as a general-purpose JFET op-amp. The two parts are intended for distinctly different application domains. A direct substitution would lead to a severe mismatch in dynamic performance.
