1. LMV358MMX/NOPB Substitution Conclusion Direct substitution is not recommended. While the LMV358MMX/NOPB offers superior output drive capability (160mA) and slew rate (1V/µs) compared to the original part, its key performance parameters fundamentally diverge from the original design intent. Its quiescent current (210µA per channel) is over four times higher than the original (48µA per channel), making it unsuitable for ultra-low-power applications. The input bias current (15nA) is four orders of magnitude greater than the original (1pA), introducing non-negligible error in high-impedance source applications. Its input offset voltage (1.7mV) is significantly higher than the original (500µV), degrading DC signal processing accuracy.
