1. AD648JRZ-REEL7 Substitution Conclusion As a JFET-input operational amplifier, the AD648JRZ-REEL7 offers superior key DC parameters compared to the original part. It features significantly lower input offset voltage (750µV vs. 3mV) and input bias current (5pA vs. 20pA). This makes it suitable for signal conditioning applications requiring high precision and high input impedance, where it provides better DC performance. However, its slew rate (1.8V/µs) and gain-bandwidth product (1 MHz) are considerably lower than those of the TL082IDT (16V/µs, 4 MHz). Consequently, its ability to handle high-frequency signals or fast transients is weaker, rendering it unsuitable for speed-critical applications. Furthermore, it has a higher minimum operating voltage (9V vs. 6V) and lacks automotive-grade (AEC-Q100) qualification. In summary, the AD648JRZ-REEL7 can only serve as a conditional substitute for low-power, high-DC-precision, but low-speed applications. It is not a direct replacement where bandwidth, slew rate, or a wide supply voltage range is required, particularly in automotive electronics environments.
2. LM833DR2G Substitution Conclusion Although the LM833DR2G shares some package and supply voltage range compatibility with the original part, it is fundamentally different. It is a bipolar-input audio op-amp, in contrast to the JFET-input architecture of the original device. This fundamental difference manifests directly in its input bias current, which is 300nA—four orders of magnitude higher than the TL082IDT's 20pA. Substituting it in circuits demanding high input impedance (e.g., sensor interfaces, integrators, sample-and-hold circuits) will introduce significant input current error and severely alter circuit operation. While its gain-bandwidth product (15 MHz) and slew rate (7V/µs) appear competitive on paper, its characteristics are optimized for the audio frequency band and differ from those of a general-purpose JFET op-amp. Therefore, the LM833DR2G is not recommended as a substitute for the TL082IDT, except in specific scenarios where only mid-band gain is critical, input impedance requirements are extremely low, and full circuit performance can be re-validated.
