1. ADTL082ARZ-REEL7 Substitution Conclusion
From an electrical performance perspective, the ADTL082ARZ-REEL7, a J-FET input dual op-amp, offers significant advantages over the original standard bipolar op-amp TS512IDT in terms of dynamic performance (20V/µs slew rate, 5MHz bandwidth) and input bias current (2pA). This makes it better suited for applications involving high-speed or high-impedance signal sources. However, key differences must be noted: its input offset voltage is considerably higher at 1.5mV (three times the original's 500µV), which may preclude its use in applications demanding high DC precision, such as precision sensor amplification. Furthermore, its minimum operating voltage of 8V (versus 3V for the original) eliminates its suitability for single-supply, low-voltage systems like 5V or 3.3V rails. It is also critical to verify whether it carries the equivalent AEC-Q100 automotive-grade qualification. Conditional Substitute: Suitable only for applications where DC precision is not critical, supply voltage is sufficiently high (>8V), and speed/input impedance are prioritized. For automotive use, matching the qualification is an essential prerequisite.
2. TLE2061ID Substitution Conclusion
The fundamental difference with the TLE2061ID is that it is a single op-amp (1 Circuit) per package, whereas the original TS512IDT is a dual op-amp (2 Circuits). This results in completely different pinouts and functionality, making a pin-for-pin direct replacement impossible. Any substitution attempt would necessitate a PCB layout redesign. While it offers advantages in input bias current (4pA), output drive capability (80mA), and supply voltage range, and its input offset voltage (600µV) is relatively close to the original, the core disparity in channel count renders it non-interchangeable at the system level. Not a Direct Substitute: This device can only be considered as a candidate for new designs where a single op-amp is required and its J-FET input/high output current characteristics are valued. It is not a drop-in replacement for existing TS512IDT circuits.
