The AS358AMTR-G1 can be directly substituted for the TS512IDT in terms of package and basic functionality, but significant differences in key parameters limit its use to general-purpose applications where high precision and dynamic performance are not critical. The main distinctions are as follows: the input offset voltage of the TS512IDT (500µV) is considerably lower than that of the AS358AMTR-G1 (2mV), making the latter unsuitable for high-precision amplification or sensor signal conditioning due to its poorer DC accuracy.
