1. AD8620ARZ-REEL Substitution Conclusion The AD8620ARZ-REEL is not a general-purpose drop-in replacement for the TL072CDT and requires careful evaluation. Its primary limitation is a narrower supply voltage range (10–26 V) compared to the TL072 (6–36 V), which may preclude operation in single-supply +5 V or higher dual-supply (e.g., ±15 V) applications. Performance-wise, it represents a significant upgrade: its gain-bandwidth product (25 MHz vs. 4 MHz) and slew rate (60 V/µs vs. 16 V/µs) far exceed those of the TL072, enabling it to handle higher frequency and faster signals. Moreover, its substantially improved input offset voltage (85 µV vs. 3 mV) and bias current (3 pA vs. 20 pA) deliver higher DC accuracy and lower input error. AD648JRZ-REEL7 Substitution Conclusion The AD648JRZ-REEL7 can serve as a replacement for the TL072CDT only in specific low-power, low-bandwidth applications, with a noticeable performance downgrade. Its key advantage is an extremely low quiescent current (340 µA per channel), resulting in significantly lower power consumption than the TL072, making it well-suited for battery-powered equipment.
