1. THS4032ID Substitution Conclusion
The THS4032ID is unsuitable as a replacement for the AD828ARZ-REEL7. Although both are dual-channel voltage-feedback amplifiers with compatible packages, there is a significant gap in key performance parameters: the THS4032ID’s –3 dB bandwidth (100 MHz) and slew rate (100 V/µs) are notably lower than those of the original part (130 MHz, 450 V/µs). In applications involving high-frequency or fast-transient signals—such as video signal processing—the THS4032ID may lead to insufficient signal bandwidth or introduce distortion, failing to meet the original design’s dynamic response requirements. While it offers lower power consumption and higher output current, the mismatch in core speed performance is the decisive disqualifying factor.
2. LT1361CS8TRPBF Substitution Conclusion
The LT1361CS8TRPBF is entirely unsuitable for replacing the AD828ARZ-REEL7. Despite its higher slew rate (800 V/µs) and very low power consumption, its gain-bandwidth product (50 MHz) is far below that of the original part (the GBW corresponding to ~130 MHz bandwidth is typically much higher). This directly results in severely limited usable signal bandwidth under the same gain setting. For bandwidth-critical applications such as video amplification, such low bandwidth performance would cause high-frequency signal attenuation or even functional failure. Even though other parameters—such as package and supply voltage range—partially overlap, the fundamental deficiency in frequency response capability renders it an unviable substitute.
