1. NE5534DRE4 Substitution Conclusion
The NE5534DRE4 is not a suitable direct substitute for the AD847ARZ-REEL. The key deficiency lies in its significantly inferior speed performance. Both its gain-bandwidth product (10 MHz vs. 50 MHz) and slew rate (13 V/µs vs. 300 V/µs) are substantially lower than those of the original part. Substituting it would drastically reduce the overall circuit bandwidth. The circuit would be incapable of processing fast-changing signals—such as video pulses or high-speed data—at high speed and without distortion. This would likely result in severe output waveform distortion or excessively long settling times, completely failing to meet the original design's requirements for high-speed response.
2. OPA604AU/2K5G4 Substitution Conclusion
The OPA604AU/2K5G4 is also unsuitable for directly replacing the AD847ARZ-REEL. While it offers a wider supply voltage range (up to 48V) and an extremely low input bias current (5 pA), its critical speed specifications—slew rate (25 V/µs) and gain-bandwidth product (20 MHz)—remain orders of magnitude below those of the original part (300 V/µs, 50 MHz). This would similarly severely degrade the circuit's high-speed response capability. Furthermore, its input offset voltage (1 mV) is double that of the original (500 µV), which would introduce greater error in applications requiring high DC precision. It cannot perform the high-speed signal conditioning tasks for which the AD847 is well-suited.
