1. TSV852AIDT Substitution Conclusion
This device can serve as a substitute in specific applications, but a critical assessment of input-stage accuracy requirements is necessary. The TSV852AIDT is generally compatible with the original part in terms of package, channel count, rail-to-rail output, and operating voltage range. It offers advantages such as stronger output drive capability (70 mA vs. 22 mA) and AEC-Q100 automotive qualification. The key differentiating factor is its input bias current (27 nA), which is significantly higher than that of the original part's CMOS input stage (1 pA). Consequently, it is unsuitable for applications involving high-impedance signal sources, precision integrators, or sensor interfaces requiring extremely low input current. Furthermore, its bandwidth (1.3 MHz) and slew rate (0.7 V/µs) are lower, resulting in slightly weaker dynamic response and high-frequency signal handling capability. Substitution with this part is viable only if the application is insensitive to input bias current and does not require high-frequency response.
2. LMX358IDT Substitution Conclusion
This device is not recommended as a direct replacement and should only be considered for non-critical applications with no DC accuracy requirements. While the LMX358IDT shares similar general characteristics with the original part, such as package and supply voltage range, its most significant drawback is an input offset voltage as high as 4 mV. This far exceeds the original part's 700 µV and will introduce substantial inherent error when amplifying DC or low-frequency signals without external nulling, severely degrading system DC accuracy. Additionally, similar to the TSV852AIDT, its input bias current (27 nA), bandwidth, and slew rate are also notably inferior to the original specifications. It cannot reliably substitute for the original part unless the application processes only AC signals and is completely insensitive to offset errors.
