1. OPA704NA/250 Substitution Conclusion The feasibility of substituting the LT6202IS5TRM with the OPA704NA/250 is relatively low, primarily due to significant differences in key performance parameters. The OPA704's gain-bandwidth product (3 MHz) and slew rate (3 V/µs) are substantially lower than those of the LT6202 (100 MHz and 25 V/µs). In high-frequency or fast-transient signal applications, the OPA704 cannot provide sufficient bandwidth and response speed, which may lead to signal distortion or delay. On the other hand, the OPA704 features extremely low input bias current (1 pA) and input offset voltage (160 µV), outperforming the LT6202 (3.8 µA and 2.6 mV). This makes it more suitable for high-precision, low-noise sensor or measurement circuits. Additionally, the OPA704’s quiescent current (160 µA) is significantly lower than that of the LT6202 (2.8 mA), which is advantageous for battery-powered or low-power designs. However, the OPA704 has a lower output drive current (10 mA vs. 40 mA), limiting its ability to drive heavy loads. Its supply voltage range is also narrower (4–12 V vs. 2.5–12.6 V), making it incompatible with low-voltage applications below 4 V. The OPA704 may be considered as a substitute only in applications that are low-frequency, low-power, high-precision, and do not require high load-driving capability. Otherwise, direct replacement is not recommended.
