1. AD8602DRZ-REEL7 Substitution Conclusion From a direct replacement perspective, feasibility is very low, and it is generally not recommended. Although both share the same package and are rail-to-rail output dual op-amps, there are fundamental differences in key parameters. The minimum operating voltage of the AD8602DRZ-REEL7 (2.7V) is significantly higher than that of the NCV20032DR2G (1.7V), rendering it inoperable in ultra-low voltage systems such as 1.8V or 2.5V. Its quiescent current (750µA per channel) is 2.7 times that of the original part (275µA), which would severely reduce battery life in power-sensitive applications. Furthermore, its input offset voltage (1.3mV) is substantially higher than the original's (500µV), introducing greater error in applications requiring high DC precision, such as sensor signal conditioning. While the AD8602 offers advantages in bandwidth, slew rate, and output drive capability, these benefits cannot compensate for the critical shortcomings in voltage compatibility and power consumption.
2. AD8602DRZ Substitution Conclusion The AD8602DRZ and AD8602DRZ-REEL7 are the same die with different packaging/ordering codes; their electrical performance parameters are identical. Therefore, the substitution conclusion is exactly the same as above: feasibility is very low, and direct replacement is not recommended. The core obstacles remain the same three parameters that have a decisive impact on fundamental system design and performance: minimum operating voltage (2.7V vs. 1.7V), quiescent power consumption (750µA vs. 275µA per channel), and input offset voltage (1.3mV vs. 500µV). Compatibility is only possible if the target application's operating voltage consistently exceeds 2.7V, is not power-sensitive, and can tolerate the higher offset error.
