1. LT1355CS8TRPBF Substitution Conclusion
The LT1355CS8TRPBF, as a voltage-feedback operational amplifier, can only serve as a substitute for the AD746JRZ in specific scenarios, with critical limitations. Its input bias current (80 nA) is nearly three orders of magnitude higher than that of the original part (110 pA), which may introduce significant errors in high-impedance sensor or precision integrator applications. While it offers a lower supply voltage limit (5 V) and a higher slew rate (400 V/µs), making it more suitable for high-speed signal processing, its gain-bandwidth product (12 MHz) is slightly lower and its input structure differs, potentially affecting high-frequency stability design. Substitution should only be considered with caution in applications where input bias current is not critical and a higher slew rate is required.
2. LF253DT Substitution Conclusion
The LF253DT, also a dual J-FET operational amplifier, provides a partial functional replacement, but with notable performance gaps. Its input bias current (20 pA) is lower, which benefits high-impedance applications. However, its input offset voltage (3 mV) is ten times worse than that of the original part (300 µV), which may severely degrade DC accuracy. Additionally, its bandwidth (4 MHz) and slew rate (16 V/µs) are significantly lower than those of the AD746JRZ (13 MHz, 75 V/µs), limiting dynamic response capability. Although its supply voltage range (6–36 V) is compatible and its quiescent current is lower, it is only suitable for low-frequency circuits where speed is not critical and offset calibration can be tolerated.
