1. LCAT1002-01 Substitution Conclusion The LCAT1002-01 is only suitable for substitution scenarios at frequencies up to 3 GHz and is not viable for higher-frequency applications. The key difference from the original part (M3933/30-03S) lies in the operating frequency range (0–3 GHz vs. 0–32 GHz). If the system operates above 3 GHz, using this part will introduce unpredictable additional insertion loss, degraded VSWR, and fluctuation in attenuation values, potentially leading to signal distortion, measurement errors, or degraded system performance. Therefore, it can only serve as a downgraded substitute for the original part under strictly limited low-frequency applications.
2. FMAT7620-1 Substitution Conclusion The FMAT7620-1 can serve as a feasible substitute for the original part in applications up to 18 GHz, but it cannot be used in the 18–32 GHz band. The most significant difference between the two parts is likewise the operating frequency range (0–18 GHz vs. 0–32 GHz). For systems operating within 18 GHz, this part meets the requirements in terms of electrical performance (attenuation accuracy, VSWR, power handling) and represents a cost-effective substitution option. For any applications involving the Ku, K, or Ka bands (i.e., above 18 GHz), this part will be completely ineffective. Hence, the actual maximum operating frequency of the system must be strictly verified before substitution.
