The key difference between the SA3R-03 and the original part (M3933/30-07N) lies in its operational frequency range, which is limited to 0–3 GHz, significantly lower than the original's 0–32 GHz. The SA3R-03 cannot operate properly in any frequency band above 3 GHz, such as C, X, Ku, or Ka bands. At higher frequencies, its attenuation performance, impedance matching, and power handling capability may degrade substantially or fail entirely. Therefore, it can only serve as a downgraded substitute for the original part in applications strictly confined to low-frequency scenarios.
2. FMAT1009 Substitution Conclusion
Not a direct replacement; suitable only for mid-to-low frequency applications up to 6 GHz. Similar to the SA3R-03, the FMAT1009 differs from the original part primarily in frequency range, with an upper limit of 6 GHz. While this is higher than the SA3R-03, it remains well below the original part's 32 GHz. Performance cannot be guaranteed across the broad high-frequency and millimeter-wave spectrum from 6 GHz to 32 GHz. This device is not suitable for any RF link involving frequencies above S-band (e.g., C, X, Ku bands, etc.). It may only be considered as a downgraded alternative to the original part in systems where the operating frequency is explicitly limited to 6 GHz or below.
