1. FMAT7467-3 Substitution Conclusion The FMAT7467-3 can serve as a conditional substitute in low- or mid-frequency applications but is unsuitable for full-bandwidth replacement. The key difference lies in its narrower frequency range (0–12 GHz) compared to the original part (0–18 GHz). In the high-frequency band from 12 GHz to 18 GHz, critical performance parameters such as attenuation accuracy and VSWR may not be guaranteed. If the system operates within this frequency range, substitution could lead to performance degradation or failure. Additionally, its connector configuration is fixed as “Jack–Plug,” differing from the directional flexibility of the original SMA module. Installation requires verifying interface orientation compatibility.
2. FMAT1010 Substitution Conclusion The substitution feasibility of the FMAT1010 is very low, and it should only be considered for strictly downgraded use in low-frequency bands. The primary limitation is its significantly reduced frequency range (0–6 GHz) compared to the original part (0–18 GHz). It can only be guaranteed to operate properly below 6 GHz and is completely unsuitable for any applications above 6 GHz, such as C-band and above satellite communications or high-frequency radar systems. Furthermore, its fixed “Plug–Jack” connector configuration introduces installation orientation constraints. Substitution is not recommended unless it is confirmed that the system’s maximum operating frequency remains below 6 GHz and the interface orientation is compatible.
