The LM431CCZ can serve as a direct replacement for the TL431ILPG, as their key parameters—output range (2.495V–36V), 100mA output current, 50ppm/°C temperature drift, and TO-92 package—are fully compatible. Notably, the LM431CCZ offers significantly higher accuracy (±0.5%) compared to the original part (±2.2%). This improved accuracy provides a more stable voltage reference in precision-sensitive applications such as regulated power supplies and ADC reference circuits, thereby reducing system error. However, it should be noted that the LM431CCZ may come at a slightly higher cost.
2. KA431AZBU Substitution Conclusion
The KA431AZBU is also a viable substitute for the TL431ILPG.
