1. LMC6062IM Substitution Conclusion Direct substitution is not viable. The LMC6062IM is an ultra-low-power, high-input-impedance CMOS op-amp. However, its gain-bandwidth product (GBW) of 100 kHz and slew rate of 0.035 V/µs are over three orders of magnitude lower than the original AD8028ARZ's specifications (190 MHz GBW, 100 V/µs slew rate). Consequently, it is entirely incapable of handling any mid-to-high frequency or fast-slewing signals, representing a vast gap in dynamic performance. Furthermore, its minimum operating voltage of 4.5V is higher than the AD8028's 2.7V, making it unsuitable for the latter's low-voltage applications. This device is only appropriate for static, low-frequency applications such as sensing or sample-and-hold circuits where speed is non-critical but power consumption and input current are paramount. It is fundamentally a different component in terms of performance targeting.
2. ALD2704ASAL Substitution Conclusion Substitution can be considered under very limited, low-speed, and specific power supply conditions, but requires careful evaluation. The ALD2704ASAL's performance falls between the two other devices. Its gain-bandwidth product (2.1 MHz) and slew rate (5 V/µs) are significantly higher than the LMC6062's, yet still nearly two orders of magnitude lower than the AD8028's. It is only capable of processing low-frequency signals within the sub-audio range and cannot be used in mid-to-high frequency applications like video or high-speed data conversion. Additionally, its supply voltage range (6.5V to 10V) is relatively narrow. It cannot support the AD8028's 3V single-supply low-voltage operation, nor can it reach the AD8028's 12V upper limit, which restricts application flexibility. Its key advantage is CMOS-level low input bias current (1 pA). It can only serve as a lower-performance alternative to the AD8028 in purely low-frequency circuits where the supply voltage is also a match.
