1. TL072ACDT Substitution Conclusion
Direct substitution is not recommended. The TL072ACDT and AD8672ARZ differ fundamentally in their input stage architecture and precision. The TL072 features a J-FET input, offering the advantage of extremely low input bias current (20 pA vs. 3 nA), making it suitable for high-impedance signal sources. However, its critical weakness is a significantly higher input offset voltage (3 mV vs. 20 µV), which is over 150 times worse than the original part. This will introduce substantial errors in applications demanding high DC precision, such as precision sensor amplification or integrator circuits. Furthermore, its lower gain-bandwidth product (4 MHz vs. 10 MHz) makes it unsuitable for the mid-to-high frequency signals the original part can handle. It can only serve as a temporary substitute in applications with minimal DC accuracy requirements but where high input impedance or automotive-grade (AEC-Q100) qualification is needed.
2. RC4559D Substitution Conclusion
Direct substitution is not recommended. The RC4559D is comprehensively inferior to the AD8672ARZ in key performance parameters. Its input offset voltage (2 mV) is 100 times greater, and its input bias current (40 nA) is an order of magnitude higher. Together, these result in DC accuracy and stability far below that of the AD8672, rendering it incapable of performing precision amplification tasks. Concurrently, its gain-bandwidth product (4 MHz) and slew rate (2 V/µs) are only half or less of the original part's specifications, limiting signal processing speed and bandwidth. The only comparable aspects are supply current and voltage range. This part can only be used as a substitute in general-purpose, non-critical circuits where precision, bandwidth, and speed are not stringent requirements, representing a significant performance downgrade.
