1. INA126U/2K5G4 Substitution Conclusion From a direct replacement perspective, feasibility is low and requires careful evaluation. The key differences are as follows: The INA126U/2K5G4 has a significantly lower bandwidth (200 kHz) compared to the AMP04FSZ-RL (700 kHz), limiting its ability to process high-frequency signals. Its input offset voltage (100 µV) is notably higher than the AMP04's (30 µV), which will directly degrade DC accuracy and increase system error. Furthermore, its output drive current (10 mA) is only one-third that of the AMP04 (30 mA), indicating insufficient capability to drive heavy loads. Although the INA126 holds advantages in input bias current (10 nA vs. 22 nA) and quiescent current (175 µA vs. 750 µA), along with a wider supply voltage range (2.7-36V vs. 5-30V), these benefits generally do not offset the significant degradation in critical performance parameters (bandwidth, accuracy, drive capability). Substitution may only be considered in low-power applications where requirements for bandwidth, precision, and load driving are not stringent.
2. INA126UAG4 Substitution Conclusion From a direct replacement standpoint, feasibility is low, and it is not recommended. The conclusion is similar to that for the INA126U/2K5G4, with further degradation in key accuracy specifications. In addition to sharing the shortcomings of the INA126U/2K5G4 in bandwidth (200 kHz) and output drive current (10 mA), the INA126UAG4 has the highest input offset voltage (150 µV) among the three parts—five times that of the AMP04 (30 µV). This will lead to a substantial increase in circuit offset error after substitution, which is particularly detrimental for measurement applications requiring high DC accuracy, such as sensor signal conditioning. While its low-power consumption and wide supply voltage advantages remain, this variant makes excessive compromises on core parameters for signal fidelity compared to the original part. This substitution should not be considered unless the application has extreme low-power demands and can fully tolerate low bandwidth, low precision, and weak drive capability.
